for General Practice

Creating space to solve challenges together and strengthen primary care for the future.

About the Masterclass

This Masterclass is hosted by THINK Hauora and facilitated by Jodeme Goldhar, an internationally recognised leader in integrated care, large scale change, collective leadership, and system stewardship.

Why attend?

General practice is navigating uncertain times – pressures around access, workforce sustainability, continuity of care, and performance expectations are real and immediate. Many practices are carrying these challenges largely on their own.

This masterclass is a timely opportunity to connect, share insights, and prepare for the changes ahead. It’s designed for general practice leaders to step back from constant operational pressures and work together on what is needed now – and how THINK Hauora can provide more focused support.

What to expect

This Masterclass has been designed to be a practical, working session grounded in the realities of general practice, focused on approaches that genuinely support access, sustainability, and professional integrity.

Together, we'll:

  • Apply learning to live priorities like access targets, workforce pressures, and coordination with THINK Hauora
  • Explore how integrated care and population health approaches can address access and continuity challenges
  • Examine leadership mindsets and ways of working fit for complexity and turbulence – staying well and avoiding burnout
  • Make sense of Ministerial expectations as shared system challenges
  • Identify practical commitments and next steps that reduce burden and support practices to succeed
