This position will be located at Kimiora, a satellite clinic of HCP, based at 13B Bristol, Levin. Kimiora is owned and operated by THINK Hauora. Kimiora is governed by the board of THINK Hauora.
The Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner Prescriber to join our dynamic team at Kimiora. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to our patients and will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Providing advanced nursing and prescribing expertise for Primary Health Care
- Assessment, clinical management and coordination of care across primary and secondary settings will ensure appropriate, safe and timely care delivery.
- Further the development of professional expertise and capacity within the nursing and interdisciplinary workforce that will enable them to proactively facilitate early recognition and effective management of co-morbid conditions and health deterioration of older people.
Skills and Attributes include (but not limited to):
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner Prescriber with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand in the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice
- Committed to improving the quality of care and service delivery for primary health in a client centred, culturally safe, creative and innovative manner
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
