Health Care Assistant - Permanent part time
We are looking for a team member to join our medium –sized, progressive Palmerston North based General Practice team. Sydney Street Health Centre is a friendly, supportive place to work with a strong focus on being responsive to our patients’ needs and continuity of care for our patients.
Essential Skills:
- Well presented, friendly and approachable with excellent customer service skills – both in person and on the phone
- The ability to work well under pressure, displaying a calm, professional and reassuring manner towards all our practice population at all times.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Well organised with excellent time management skills.
Duties include assisting GPs/NPs for minor ops, removal of sutures, Blood pressure checks, driver medicals, ECG’s, ordering stock and recalls
Medtech 32 or Evolution experience is an advantage.
The hours offered are 20-24 hrs a week and days are negotiable.
