We are a well-established family orientated General Practice clinic with a broad range of patients looking for a practice nurse. This is a permanent part time position in a supportive Cornerstone accredited practice with a commitment to professional development. A competitive remuneration is offered.

We seek a kind and compassionate nurse who will fit into a friendly practice. The successful nurse will be a self-starting team player capable of working autonomously and partnering with our other nurses and doctors to provide a full range of primary care services. This nursing position will involve routine nursing and administrative tasks, as well as participation in our practice accreditation programme.

The successful applicant will have:

• Previous experience as a Practice Nurse
• NZ Nursing Registration and APC
• Current vaccinator certificate 
• The ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of aspects of patient care and management 
• An ability to demonstrate commitment to health equity including for our Māori patients and those with high health needs
• Experience with managing chronic conditions 
• Excellent teamwork and patient service
• A commitment to continual quality improvement 
• An organised and efficient manner, and be able to prioritise workload
