Clinical Services

Clinical Services

THINK Hauora supports general practices to deliver the following services to our communities.  The services described below are part of our support services; services that you can access through your General Practice.

Immunisation

Timely immunisation is the most effective way to protect pregnant mothers, babies and children from preventable diseases such as whooping cough, tetanus, hepatitis B, and measles.

The National Immunisation Schedule provides free vaccinations for children until they have reached 18 years of age. If you are enrolled with a General Practice, your General Practice team will keep a record of your immunisations and boosters to help you know when these are due.

The Immunisation Advisory Centre  provides useful information to help make informed decisions about immunisation. For more information on any immunisation services please call your General Practice team or contact THINK Hauora on 06 354 9107 or email info@thinkhauora.nz
