The Finance, Audit, Risk and Health and Safety Committee

The Finance, Audit, Risk and Health & Safety Committee is a standing sub-committee of the THINK Hauora Board and oversees the financial management, organisational compliance and risk for THINK Hauora and its other entities whether fully owned, in partnership or through a partial interest. The Committee also provides organisational oversight of identified THINK Hauora practices.

The Committee:

• Assists the THINK Hauora Board in fulfilling their oversight responsibilities to meet the statutory requirements of Directors and Trustees as outlined in the Companies Act (1993), the Financial Reporting Act (1993) and other relevant legislation.
• Provides strategic leadership for the management of risk, health and safety, financial management and internal (audit) controls.
• Provides independent liaison with external auditors.
• Provides the commercial governance of THINK Hauora practices and oversee the efficient operational activity of identified THINK Hauora practices.
