Zina Foon

Hi there, my name is Zina and I am one of the Pasifika Navigator/Health coaches in the team.

Our team aim is to support Pasifika fanau with health needs and help them towards improving their wellbeing. We are the extra support for our Pasifika LTC nurses and Pasifika co-ordinator to deliver holistic healthcare for our Pasifika fanau.

Our role involves navigating or directing fanau to access health services in the healthcare system and to access other service providers. We provide advocacy, transportation, translation, coaching and education for our Pasifika people.

As Health Coaches, we support our Pasifika fanau in managing their health and reaching their health goals. This role also allows us to support Pasifika fanau with mental health needs.
