THINK Hauora is seeking to engage a Performance and Accountability Coordinator to ensure the overall performance, accountability, and deliverance of the clinical quality data. This role will act as a subject matter expert for our primary care clinical data sets and clinical reporting. This is a pivotal role that will see you working closely with our General Managers, Senior Leadership Team, Analysts and key external healthcare providers.
Reporting to the General Manager, Clinical Quality, this role will ensure the Clinical Quality team have cognitive data insights to guarantee concise clinical information and reporting. This data will support equity-based decision making to assist the Whanau Ora outcomes-based framework and the NZ well-being indicators. A further focus will be to embed the use of the data warehouse intelligence and reporting amongst clinical teams. Equally important will be fostering a data driven culture, delivering high quality reporting (to all levels of the organisation) in a rich and informative narrative.
By and large, you will ensure best practice in data management, financial and performance reporting and analysis and be our subject matter expert in primary clinical data management.

- Ensuring the clinical quality team has ready access and confidence in using and understanding performance data
- Accurately reporting, interpreting data, and identifying trends
- Gathering contextual-based insights to ensure reporting portrays the current state
- Using different report and presentation techniques to deliver key messaging
- Identifying and reporting on risk and mitigation activities
- Monitoring financial performance against budget requirements
- Producing well written and accurate reports
- Collating relevant data and producing quarterly reports with a clear narrative
As this role has a large data component, you will be our subject matter expert for the clinical quality team. In a consultative approach, you will drive the clinical reporting goals, equip the team with knowledge about how to navigate the data warehouse, (Te Kete Korero) and build strong relationships to foster collaboration. Working closely with the Analysts in the Knowledge & Insights team, you will also be a key stakeholder for new data warehouse products and releases. In all, you will thrive in a data driven environment and seek rich data to reach evidence-based decision making.
Your experience working in the health sector together with a relevant degree and/or supporting certificates/education in data management and analysis reporting, will strengthen your application. As will your proven experience in interpreting and communicating financial and performance data. Writing reports will come naturally to you. It may be that you are currently working in a data driven health environment and now seeking further scope to make a job your own. This role will provide that opportunity.
