The Role:

Our Te Ara Rau Access & Choice team have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to help improve the holistic wellbeing for the people of the MidCentral region.

With no limits to the types of presentations we encounter, your adaptable nature will be crucial in tackling any challenge that comes your way.


We’re seeking an exceptional individual who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Exceptional Computer Literacy: Ideally, you’ll have experience with Patient Management Systems and administrative software such as Indici, MedTech 32, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Your ability to communicate effectively across various mediums (phone, email, face-to-face) will be crucial.
  • Compassion and Resilience: You’ll need to navigate tough conversations when necessary, demonstrating empathy and resilience.
  • An appreciation for interacting with a diverse range of people is essential. Your ability to connect and create positive pathways in every encounter matters.
  • Provide effective administration support to the Te Ara Rau Access & Choice programme
